The trail is made up of a 3.5km route for the Nippers and Sprogs and 5.3km route for all other categories. The trail winds its way around and across the Amanzimtoti River and surrounding forest area and is made up of single track linked by numerous bridges, switchbacks, drop offs and wooden berms. The trails have their technical sections as well as a number of fairly quick sections with plenty of place to overtake.
There are plenty of spectator points from which spectators can watch the action.
The Track has been built by the Amanzimtoti Cycle Club which has built up an enviable reputation over the past 16 years for presenting Cycle Races that are both safe and enjoyable for the participants.
