Cyclists in the 14th Lynford Clover Superclassic matched the blistering heat with blistering pace. A bumper turnout of riders enjoyed the ride throught the dairy farmland, grassland and forests of the Ixopo district. Winner Andrew Warr scorched along the track in a time of 01:46:34, followed by Andrew Hill (01:47:58) and Travis Walker in third place (01:48:18).  Landy Puddu took the honours in the women's race in a time of 02:19:56. Amy Jane Mundy (02:22:43) and Gina Treleaven (02:24:49) were second and third. The 20 km intermediate race was won by Kevin Leveridge (01:17:05) and Shale Exelby (01:30:30). Top riders were complimentary about the new course, designed by Nick Floros and were delighted with the free-flowing single track. 20 km and 10km riders were treated to a surprise ride on a rotary dairy, whilst riders were greeted by the highest finishing bridge yet constructed at Lynford.

The remainder of the weekend was jam-packed with activity - including a 20 km trail run (won by Ian Don-Wauchope in a time of 1:30:39) and  a 10km trail run (won by Martin Dreyer - 44:21) The crowds enjoyed the traditional Lynford country hospitality and a happy, action-packed weekend was had by all.
