I just want to say a big thank you to the gentleman that stopped to help me when i had my accident during the Hilton Dirt Fest 45km. I dont know who you are but thank you for your help and for telling me to breath!! (i just remember he was wearing blue?). I finished but with damage fractured ribs and badly bruized chest.

I dont know when the start of the shorter distances were changed on the web page. But I dont walk around with a laptop checking to see if event times have been changed every five mins. This resulted in joining in on the ride after the other riders had already left. and there were a good few people who were in the same boat trying to register as the ride had already started. This to me was a VERY POOR show. Once you have published starting times STICK to it.

Once out there it was FANTASTIC the track was a great mix of terrian and was clearly marked. water tables were well stocked and run
Thanks
see you next year

A great ride and support on the course was spoilt by the initial introduction to the day. This was my first Hilton Dirt Bike Ride and would have thought that the orginisation would be as good as any other event that I had entered. How wrong was I and it seems like many others as well.
1) To bring the start time forward by an hour is ridicolous.
2) I eneterd the race with my son (Ids etc provided) but there are no shirt sizes for a youngster. Surey when your cater for a family/fun ride you will be aware that there will be a need for some small/med shirts.
3) The queue at the registration and Time chips was a joke.

Fortunatly this chaos was at the beginning of what turned out to be a great day.
Good luck next year
Gordon
